We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Data Engineer to join our team to help build and scale ASK BOSCO® our cutting-edge SAAS AI Marketing Intelligence Platform. As a Junior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our data infrastructure and ensuring the availability, accuracy, and efficiency of our data processing systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and end users, to design and implement scalable data solutions.

Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years proven experience in a similar role, with a passion for Data Analytics and visualising data, along with robust technical skills such as Python development to help with data processing.

This role will work as part of the Data Engineering and Data Analytics team, helping to deliver key projects, related to Data Processing and AI Reporting Dashboards.

This is a role that offers a diverse task list including optimising data processing systems for performance, scalability, and efficiency, ensuring the ability to handle large datasets seamlessly. As well as collaborating with Data Analysts and Marketing Specialists to understand business and technical data requirements, to deliver reliable and accessible data sets and reports within ASK BOSCO® tailored to their needs.

The key skills for this role include:

  • Proficiency in Python and strong data visualisation capabilities.
  • 2+ years of proven experience within a Data Engineering role.
  • Solid understanding of data structures and expertise in data manipulation.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to troubleshoot complex data challenges.
  • Awareness of best practices in data governance and data quality management.
  • Familiarity with modern data engineering tools, frameworks, and platforms.
  • Experience with cloud service providers (Google Cloud) to optimize workflows, leveraging cloud-based tools and services for enhanced data processing.
